What are the dates of the Program?
Session 1 begins June 24th and session 8 ends August 15
What are the dates of the sessions?
All sessions are Monday-Thursday excluding the week of the 4th
Session 1: June 24th-27th
Session 2: July 1st-July 3rd (shortened prorated week, 4th off)
Session 3: July 8th-11th
Session 4: July 15th-18th
Session 5: July 22nd-25th
Session 6: July 29th-August 1st
Session 7: August 5th 8th
Session 8: August 12th-15th
How do I register for camp?

Is the camp available to the Public? Or Members only?
Yes, camp is available to the public.
Members rates are discounted.
Can I register my camper for one session?
Yes, although we encourage campers to attend for a minimum of 2 weeks to learn the challenging skills.
What does a typical day look like at camp?
Example Opti 1 class
9:30am arrive at camp
9:30am-12:30pm Sailing lessons
12:30pm-1:00pm Lunch in the game room
1:00pm-2:30pm Seamanship
2:30pm-4:00pm Tennis Lessons
4:00pm Pick up
Is Lunch Provided?
Yes, Lunch is provided each day for all campers from U-8-all the way up.
A sample week's menu is typically:
Monday- Burgers, tots, Caesar, fruit salad
Tuesday- French bread pizza, potato chips, fruit salad
Wednesday- Mac n cheese, Caesar salad, fruit salad
Thursday- Chicken fingers, fries, Caesar salad, fruit salad
What does my camper need to bring each day to camp?
- US Coast Guard approved Type 3 PFD (Life Jacket)
- Closed-toe shoes/water shoes
- Tennis Racket
- Sneakers (different than water shoes for tennis)
- Bathing Suit
- Change of clothes for tennis
- Reusable water bottle
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Optional: mask/gator, hat, sunglasses, snacks
Does the Annisquam Junior Program compete against any other clubs in Tennis?
Yes, based on your campers ability to serve and volley, the AYC competes in interleague league matches against other clubs in the areas.
When are the Tennis matches?
The matches take place on almost every Friday of Camp at 1:00pm
Does the Annisquam Junior Program travel for sailing regattas?
Yes, our Opti Race team, and if applicable, our 420 race team competes all summer long. We typically compete at the following regattas:
MSA: Green Fleet regatta
Ipswich Bay Junior Regatta
Essex Bay Greenhead Regatta
Sandy Bay Day
Squam Day
Marblehead Junior Race Week
Hingham Bay Junior Regatta
Who will be coaching my camper(s)?
The AYC Junior Program has an amazing staff. The staff is made up of previous campers and coaches from outside of Annisquam. All coaches are CPR/First Aid certified as well as US Sailing Level 1 certified. The staff also has at a minimum 2 lifeguards.
